Job Description: We are on the lookout for an inspiring and enthusiastic German Teacher to support a Stroud based school starting January 2025. If you have a flair for teaching and a passion for the German language, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for teaching German across KS3 to KS5, creating engaging and immersive lessons that ignite a love for languages in our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver captivating German lessons for students from KS3 to KS5.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in language learning.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievements.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language curriculum and share best practices.
- Organise and participate in language-related extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching German at the secondary school level, KS3 to KS5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative teaching approach.
- Passion for languages and a desire to inspire students.
