Salary: £130 - £145 per day
Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and meticulous Science Technician to join a Stroud secondary school. This role is integral to supporting our science department, ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities, and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
Assist teaching staff during laboratory sessions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory of chemicals and lab supplies.
Aid in the development of new experiments and practical activities.
Support the department with general administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
A background in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics preferred).
Experience working in a laboratory setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
