Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to support an independent school in Malvern from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3-KS5 Biology, inspiring students to achieve their full potential in this critical subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons for students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Biology curriculum.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Biology at the secondary school level, particularly KS5.
- Strong knowledge of Biology and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
