About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time English Teacher to support a Cheltenham secondary school from January 2025. This is an ongoing position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our students' educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across various year groups.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organise and participate in parents' evenings and other school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
